We bring theme park quality characters to hospitals, community events, and fundraisers across Toronto at no cost to families in need. Private events, generous donations, and an incredible team of volunteers help us make this happen.

Herbs Secret Santa: Starlight Children's Foundation

For two years running, Whimsy Works Volunteers have visited four Toys R Us locations across the GTA to celebrate the holidays with over 300 Starlight families.

Hospital Happenings: Trinity Memorial

In September 2024, Elsa and Spiderman joined Starlight Children's Foundation in a visit to Trinity Memorial Hospital, in honour of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!

Starlight Trick or Suite

Every October, Whimsy Works joins Starlight Children's Foundation in creating an accessible trick or treating village in Aurora, with princesses, superheroes, pop stars, and more!

Request a Visit

Visits can be requested by family members or community organization that feel they would be a good fit to work with us! Please keep in mind that coordinating volunteer princesses can be difficult -- the earlier you reach out to us the better, but we will do our best to work with any circumstances. Hospital visits must be cleared by the care team first. All our princesses and characters are happy to wear medical masks if requested.Fill out the form below and we will be in touch!

Book a Private Party

100% of proceeds from your booking go directly back to supporting our volunteer princessing. An extra character can be added to any of the below packages upon request, availability permitting. A travel fee may apply to bookings outside of the Toronto area.

Whimsy Works because of our amazing volunteers. Join our team!

There are no experience restrictions on joining our team -- everyone is welcome to apply! We have inclusive costuming in a wide range of sizes, and are always growing our character collection. After filling out the form below, a member of our team will reach out to you about next steps for the application process.In order to volunteer with Whimsy Works, you must have a clear Vulnerable Sectors Check with your local police department. This can cost between $0-$40, depending on your primary postal code of residence. At this time, applications are only open to actors of 16 years of age and older.
